Reading problems appear early, but teachers and other staff postpone warning parents, hoping to solve the problem on their own. Schools view on-campus tutoring as a costly last resort. By the time a parent is alerted, the child is often secretly upset. Reading Insurance™ is designed to prevent all this.
Reading Insurance™ is a quarterly reading progress check-up. It’s done online. We detect issues while they’re still small. Effectively, you can insure your child’s self-esteem. Students who are behind feel bad when asked to read in front other kids. Reading Insurance™ is for children between 5 and 9 who are a little ahead, on track, or not seriously behind.
Once or twice every three months, your tutor will contact you to schedule one or two 30-minute evaluation sessions. After the evaluation, you get a progress update and recommendations on what you can do at home. If your child seems to be falling behind, you’ll be able to act promptly.
